A researcher named Brian McGlinchey has published excerpts from Document 17, which was quietly declassified by the government last summer. In a nutshell, among other things, Document 17 shows that a Saudi associate of some of the 9/11 hijackers had contact with the Saudi embassy in Washington, D.C.
President Obama has already said he’ll veto the bill in the Senate that would remove diplomatic immunity from any nation that is found culpable for terror attacks on American soil. The co-sponsor of the bill, Republican Senator Lindsay Graham of South Carolina, has put a hold on it. It seems that people behind the scenes have advised both men that playing ball in this case means keeping a lid on the real history of 9/11.
