The Friday Five – Inflation Hotter Than Expected

Inflation ran hotter than expected in June with the CPI up 9.1%, the highest level since 1981, and the Producer Price Index at a near-record 11.3%. Expect the Fed to raise interest rates by as much as 1% later this month to try to cool things down.
