Jerry E. Smith was born on April 8, 1950 in Pomona, California, and died at 3:00 am on the morning of Monday, March 8, 2010, of pancreatic carcinoma (pancreatic cancer), I was informed by Kenn Thomas, editor of Steamshovel Press, moments ago. Smith was an author, lecturer and editor on unexplained phenomena, but sometimes remained behind the scenes in recent years, as a ghostwriter.
We had the pleasure of interviewing Jerry on P.I.D. Radio about his book HAARP: The Ultimate Weapon of the Conspiracy (click here), and I was able to offer him some time on a “mainstream media” outlet during our run at The Eagle 93.9 in Columbia, Missouri (link opens mp3 file) to discuss his book Weather Warfare: The Military’s Plan to Draft Mother Nature.
Jerry was an intelligent, well-spoken man who looked beyond the obvious. Much of his work was speculative and thus dismissed by critics, but he leaves a legacy that is intriguing and thought-provoking whether you agree with his conclusions or not.
