ACORN to sue hidden-cam team

Now, if I were a sleazy community organization caught on videotape facilitating child prostitution, I’d take my lumps, dissolve, and reorganize under a new name. And I’d do it quick, while Democrats still hold the White House and Congress.

Not ACORN. ACORN calls its lawyers.

Community activist group ACORN is suing the makers of a hidden-camera video that showed employees of its Baltimore office giving tax advice to a man posing as a pimp and a woman posing as a prostitute.

The liberal group contends that the audio portion of the video was obtained illegally because Maryland requires two-party consent to create sound recordings.

Here’s a mental health tip: one way to avoid “extreme emotional distress” is to avoid participating in criminal activity!

This should be interesting. If Andrew Breitbart has good attorneys, and I suspect he’ll have plenty willing to defend him and the filmmakers, they might bring more things to light in court that ACORN would rather keep hidden.
