Gay marriage question costs Miss CA the Miss USA crown

Read the article at WorldNetDaily: essentially, Carrie Prejean, Miss California, probably lost the Miss USA crown Sunday night because flamboyantly gay “celebrity” judge Perez Hilton gave her a zero score. Why? Because Prejean answered a question about homosexual marriage by stating that she thinks marriage should be between a man and a woman.

Prejean, who was first runner up, professes to be a Christian. She said afterward, “Out of all the topics I studied up on, I dreaded that one; I prayed I would not be asked about gay marriage.”

Why? What better witnessing opportunity? And why express the belief that marriage is the union of one man and one woman because that’s how you were raised, and not because God said so?

Well, easy for me to say. The closest experience in my history was being asked on the air in Columbia whether Mitt Romney worshiped the same God as me. I answered “no” — but then, I was a little older than Miss Prejean and my job wasn’t on the line.
