Another November, another National Novel Writing Month.
I was too busy trying to build a radio station (and my audience) in 2006 to write more than about 8,000 words during the month, less than 20% of the goal of 50k in 30 days. Last year, we were getting ready to move from Missouri to Indiana — and I had no job waiting on this end — so I really didn’t feel the muse.
This year, though, we’ve more or less settled into the home we hope to live in for a good bit of the rest of our lives and I’ve got a fair amount of vacation time due. Reading through Iron Dragons again for the audio version has me inspired to finally get on with the sequel, Trees of Glass.
Word count totals will be updated periodically, and I’ll have some excerpts here, too.
