The $10 billion GM and Chrysler want to help grease the skids for a merger of 2/3 of Detroit’s Big Three is a drop in the bucket compared to the trillion we’ve already spent on banks, mortgage lenders, and insurance companies. That will likely be part of the justification we hear for dumping this bailout onto taxpayers, too.
The die has been cast. Corporations own the United States of America. But it’s not unexpected; global government is coming, and the consolidation taking place in all industries, from automaking to banking to oil to agriculture to steel, is part of the process.
