I’m amazed at the tone of the news coverage over the debate on whether delegates from Florida and Michigan should be seated at the Democratic presidential convention this summer. The consensus of the pundits is that Michigan and Florida really had some nerve to violate “the rules” that the DNC established for the primaries.
Hold it! Who the hell is Howard Dean to dictate election law in Florida? When did we turn control over the states of this union to our two largest political parties?
So Florida and Michigan changed their primary dates. The legislatures in those states should tell the DNC to shut up and deal with it.
