Townhall.com, a clearinghouse for “conservative” (read: Republican–the GOP is not conservative anymore) columnists, has started a new blog titled Nail Yale. Presumably, it’s intended to take Yale to task for admitting the former Taliban spokesman with the fourth grade education.
As stupid a decision as that was, I’d really like to see the editors of Townhall.com raise objections to Yale’s tolerance of an occultic secret society that–in defiance of all statistical probability–produced both major candidates in the last presidential election. But they won’t, because Townhall’s objections aren’t about right and wrong, it’s about us versus them.
In other words, “Yes, we know our allegedly Christian president swore an oath to an occult group that he hasn’t renounced, but at least he’s our Bonesman.”
Christians? Doesn’t that bother you?
