Taylor Kent, aka the Snarky Avenger, puts out the Snark Infested Waters Podcast, and you owe it to yourself to give it a listen. He usually includes a musical interlude from a deserving artist, a review of the week’s SciFi Original Movie (so you have fair warning before watching it yourself), and insightful comments on the state of American Christianity–which in far too many places has devolved into “churchianity”.
This week’s podcast was a “geek music” special, and his choice of artists–Josh Woodward, Aquabats, Lemon Demon, and Jonathan Coulton–was excellent. (Speaking of IKEA, Jonathon Coulton’s “Ikea” is stuck in my head, and my 16-year-old daughter was delighted to hear the Aquabats on our way to school this morning. How does she know about the Aquabats?)
The Snarky Avenger is a tireless defender of truth, justice, and mindless science fiction as a means of winding down on the weekend. Make Snark Infested Waters a regular listen.
