South Dakota Passes Constitutional Law, Liberals Fly Into Rage

Abortionists: This is constitutional.

South Dakota Gov. Mike Rounds signed a bill Monday that bans nearly all abortions in the state, legislation in direct conflict with the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion in 1973.

The new law defines life as originating “at the time of conception.”

Roe v. Wade was a bad ruling, fabricated from whole cloth and based on a bizarre, alternate-universe reading of the Constitution. I don’t care whether you agree or disagree with my view of preborn children, anyone who supports Roe v. Wade on legal grounds is trying to hold an undefensible position.

The decision to legalize abortion should be left to the states. It is not a constitutionally protected right. Get over it.
