As of 12:01 a.m. local time, National Novel Writing Month officially commenced.
My goal is to produce at least 50,000 words of semi-cohesive prose by midnight, November 30. The working title of my novel is The Eridu Working, which makes reference to an ancient site in the Iraqi desert and a little-known event in American history, both of which hold significance for the future.
Plus it sounded cool.
