Defying the Laws of Baseball Physics

The Chicago White Sox are now 27-and-9 after beating the AL East leading Baltimore Orioles for the second time in a row last night. The Sox’ 3-4-5 hitters are batting .247, .197, and .190.

Theoretically, this is about as likely as the flight of the aerodynamically challenged bumblebee. It shouldn’t be possible, but it’s happening.
