New Bankruptcy Law Tightens the Screws

When Republicans start to complain about Congress, you have to take note. Redstate.org sees the bankruptcy “reform” pushed through by the GOP as a betrayal of the public:

The bill is basically a gift to corporate lenders that tightens requirements on consumers while paradoxically loosening restrictions on credit card companies.

This is on us, folks. This is on the Republican Party. It’s going to hurt a lot of people; it is a pure giveaway to business sectors that need no state help; and it makes us look like the corporate toadies we apparently are. Shame.
