No Wonder They Couldn’t Find Her

Remember the Chinese woman being hunted last week as a possible terrorist?

The FBI said a Chinese woman wanted in connection with an alleged terrorist plot against Boston has been in a U.S. Customs detention facility since November and doesn’t appear to have terrorist links.

Mei Xia Dong, who was originally thought to be a man, was arrested on Nov. 11 by Customs and Border Protection agents in San Diego after having paid “a human smuggler” an undisclosed amount of money to get across the border, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said in a statement.

She apparently paid to get into the country to find work. So how did her name get added to the list of people the FBI wanted to find?
