It Figures

The Kerry campaign plans to use the inaccurate New York Times story as basis for a new campaign ad blaming the president for the missing 380 tons of explosives in Iraq:

John Kerry: ?The obligation of a Commander in Chief is to keep our country safe. In Iraq, George Bush has overextended our troops??

??and now failed to secure 380 tons of deadly explosives.?

?The kind used for attacks in Iraq, and for terrorist bombings.?

As NBC News reported last night, the explosives disappeared on the U.N.’s watch, not ours. The stuff was gone before our troops got there.

Is John Kerry suggesting we should have attacked sooner? And that there was a link between Saddam Hussein and global terrorism?
