Okay, that’s a bit misleading. But the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, the one that ruled the phrase “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance to be unconstitutional, has struck down an Idaho law that requires parental consent for an underage girl to have an abortion.
Is it logical? Girls in Idaho can’t vote until they’re 18 or drink until they’re 21–but they can murder their unborn children at any age without asking their parents, and with the protection of the Constitution of the United States as interpreted by the warped minds of a a three-judge panel in San Francisco. It’s enough to make a man weep.
