Bunnie Diehl offers more glimpses into the minds that can rationalize away “murder” as “choice”. Here’s a look at “Men For Sex Without Consequences”:
At least in the old days, when confronted by an unplanned pregnancy, a man was expected to honor his responsibility to mother and child. Granted that women bear the physical hardship of carrying and bearing children, but men were expected to provide–a lifelong commitment.
Today, a man is considered responsible if he writes a check for the “procedure”.
Meanwhile, the woman faces potential complications during the surgery (infection, bleeding, sterility), emotional distress, and an increased risk of breast cancer. The man walks away, maybe $300 or $400 poorer.
So who was truly “liberated” by legalized abortion–women or men?
