Pro-Life = Profane?

I found this interesting observation at the World Magazine Blog:

Generation W blogger Dean Abbott tells about school principals using anti-profanity policies to censor pro-life messages. At issue was a T-shirt, which, the principal said, “violates the school’s policy against profane or obscene language.”

Here’s what counts as profanity now. “The shirt says: ‘Abortion is Homicide. You will not silence my message. You will not mock my God. You will stop killing my generation. Rock for Life.'” For crying out loud!! This indecency must be stopped!! Call the FCC!!

Which raises the important question: Might the government’s impending crackdown on broadcast indecency be used someday to silence and persecute Christians and other dissidents?

I think it’s only a matter of time.
