Vox Day on Howard Dean

Vox Day has penned–okay, word-processed–another excellent column for WorldNetDaily, this time on the sudden appearance of Howard Dean’s belief in Jesus Christ just in time for his campaign in the Southern states.

As Vox points out, we Christians should not ridicule, but rejoice, as the apostle Paul did, that Jesus’ name is proclaimed, whether sincerely or not. However, that doesn’t mean evangelical Christians should take Dr. Dean at his word; he is, after all, a man who does not attend church, raised his children in the Jewish faith, and left the Episcopal Church for the United Church of Christ (talk about frying pan to fire) over a disputed route for a bike path.

I believe that’s what Jesus meant by being as gentle as doves and as wise as serpents.
