Supreme Court Rules Against First Amendment

We may have witnessed a first and only situation–a Supreme Court ruling so bad that the National Rifle Association and the ACLU both oppose it.

With its ruling to uphold the major portions of the McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform bill, the court has decided that abridging the right to free speech is a lesser evil than allowing stupid voters like you and me to figure out which campaign ads to ignore.

Consider, now, that the Supreme Court feels it can put a limit on the right to free speech, which is specifically guaranteed by the Constitution; at the same time, the “right” to kill an unborn child is justified by the court as a protected “right” to privacy, which is nowhere in the Constitution.

I ask you: Does the Constitution of the United States mean anything anymore?
