A New Kind Of Poverty

Good morning! Welcome back from your weekend of giving thanks. I, for one, have much to be thankful for, despite the drastic hit our business has taken at work.

But as we start back to work in this shortened month of holidays, we’re greeted with a sober reminder that all is not right in America. Anna Quindlen, writing for MSNBC, summarizes thus:

America is a country that now sits atop the precarious latticework of myth. It is the myth that work provides rewards, that working people can support their families.
