Clark Praised Bush, Cheney, Powell, Reagan

The more you look at retired Gen. Wesley Clark, the stranger he looks. Matt Drudge reports that Clark offered glowing praise of the Bush administration and its key players in a speech to Republicans in Little Rock back in 2001.

Clark only registered as a Democrat recently–we think. But he seems to remember voting in Democratic primaries in Arkansas, something that would have required him to be a registered Democrat. And he’s claimed that he would have been a Republican if Karl Rove had only returned his calls–calls Clark never made, according to White House phone records.

So I have to wonder: Is Clark running for president because he’s secretly miffed that George W. Bush didn’t invite him to join the team?
